What podcasts do you listen to?

Yo funky film loving people,

What film podcasts do you listen to on a regular basis? Hit me up with some suggestions and feel free to plug your own podcast mercilessly if you have one. I listen regularly to the /Filmcast and to the Aussie Parallex podcast. I am recording the first episode of my new podcast this weekend and always keen to hear what others are doing in this space.

That’s all I got. What an awkwardly short post. Erm… look at this:

Oh and this:

I listen to The Bugle every week, it’s the funniest podcast in the world. For movies i sometimes download the Empire Podcast. Also we’re about to record the second Screenkicker podcast! The first one is here on soundcloud:

    It’s great!

Awesome, cheers for your suggestions. Will definitely take a look at the Screenkicker podcast.

I’ve only ever listened to two podcasts – mine and Mike’s above.

Do you still have a podcast? I don’t think I am aware of this tomfoolery.

Ah balls. I totally forgot about shitfest as I am known to do. If I live-tweet RIPD over the weekend do you have space for it in a weekend slot or something? All good if full up.

Those videos are the cutest thing, haha. Thanks for sharing!

About podcasts, I don’t normally listen to them (looking forward to yours, though). The only one I follow is Movie Talking (http://moviewriting.co.uk/) but they haven’t done one in a while 😦

Bummer they have stopped recording. I might see if some of their old ones are still online somewhere.

Maybe you could find them on iTunes.

The only podcast I listen to is Kevin Smith’s Smodcast. Always a good laugh with that and a really funny guy to listen to. Makes my drive to work every morning not as bad lol.

Cheers Ryan. I know a bunch of people who love that one too. Might have to give it a shot.

I actually don’t listen to any podcast.

Fair enough. I find they are a good way to pass the time while I am doing something else.

I’ve just never tried. What would you recommend? I have some time free time on my hands and I wouldn’t mind checking something new out :].

I find the podcast on Slashfilm.com pretty good. I disagree with the guys on there a fair bit, but usually they are still worth listening to. A lot of people love Kevin Smith’s podcast. But I have not listened to it.

I listen to a lot of podcasts because they are the best thing ever! I listen to mostly comedy podcasts, but a couple of movie podcasts that I would recommend to anyone would be Battleship Pretension and The Flop House. The first is a serious discussion about movies every week. The second is a comedy podcast that rips on really bad new release movies. Both are quite awesome.

Awesome, both of those sound really great. Cheers for sharing.

I used to listen to Spill.com’s movie review podcasts, but sadly their site got shut down in December.

That sucks. I might see if any of their old episodes are still online.

        The Otaku Judge

Yeah it’s a shame. The Spill Crew had good chemistry and were very funny. You might find their animated reviews on Youtube, although their 20 minute podcasts were better. Robert Cargill, who wrote Sinister, was one of their critics.
