I was quite a fan of X-Men First Class and appreciated the approach it took to rebooting a franchise whilst not really rebooting it at all. As such, I am pretty excited by this trailer for X-Men Days of Future Past which continues things on, whilst also crossing over with the original series of films. I think it is to be applauded that a big studio picture is going for this, because it could confuse some movie goers, the combo of the two series. This trailer does not give too much away (which is bloody nice) but it does make the film look pretty slick and awesome. I am really psyched for this film and this trailer has only added to that.

Ok you might have me sold on this movie, pal. I am not against the XMen, just never got fully into it. You reckon I should catch First Class before this, though. . .?
Yeah I think so. Just catch First Class anyway. It is a cool period piece and has a badass cast too
Can’t wait to see how this movie turns out, looks pretty good.
Yeah I am really looking forward to it as well.
Looking forward to this movie. I really liked First Class, but am not a huge fan of the original X-Men franchise; we will see how well the two are integrated. This might be sacrilege, but I am also getting really tired of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. It is a little oppressive.
I look forward to your coming thoughts on this movie!
Yeah I didn’t mind the original films, but definitely didn’t get into them as much as a lot of people. I actually think quite a lot of people are a bit over Jackman. I’ve skipped the two standalone Wolverine films, so personally don’t feel that way.
This trailer does look pretty cool, but I’m kind of getting sick of X-men movies. And at this point the only Hugh Jackman should bother putting on his resume is “played Wolverine an exorbitant amount of times” lol.
Haha. I’ve missed a few (the third in the original series and the two standalone Wolverine ones) so I am not as over it all as you are.
I’m in the minority on this one. I thought X men First Class was ok but nothing special and I might skip this movie because i’m pretty sure it’s going to be over the top Wolverine again. If Gambit, Jubilee, a real Rogue, and all the other X men i’ve grown up watching/reading then i’ll watch it but I highly doubt that will happen.
Yeah fair enough. I have to say that I don’t have quite the same connection as you to X Men.
I assume you are a comics reader. Suggestions for a good X Men book to pick up?
I recommend you read the Phoenix Saga, and the Dark Phoenix Saga.
Thanks for these suggestions. Much appreciated.
I enjoyed First Class a lot but thought this trailer was meh.
Hi fellow blogger I have nominated you for a Sunshine Award because your blog has inspired me, keep up the good work 🙂

Thankyou sir!
Np.
I’m looking forward to this as I’ve enjoyed all the Xmen movies aside from X3.
Thanks for commenting. I don’t even think I finished that one.
